Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Domain Architect to join our Architecture.

The responsibility of this team is guide the bank through new paths and help deliver the bank of the future for our customers

Your key responsibilities:

As a Domain Architect you will:

• Identify and define the scope of the Bounded Contexts within his/her Domain, according to the business needs of the different Value Streams, always with a target-first mindset
• Co-create the Architectural Designs at different temporal horizons, defining the target architecture, the foreseen transitions and the next iteration, considering both the business and the technology strategy and combining Global and Local systems
• Positively contribute to the roadmap definition, providing guidance to the business and delivery leadership and assessing the impact of the main initiatives at the inception phase
• Own the integration of the services and platforms across the domain, optimizing functional and non‑functional requirements and reducing complexity and architectural debt
• Provides guidance to Engineers, managers and teams/squads for the domain, by describing design patterns in Cookbooks together with the Engineering discipline. Describes how these best practices can be implemented in practice
• Is responsible for Quarterly Business Review (QBR) items (3 quarters) and signs off quarterly plans and/or Change Governance Documents (CGD)
• Ensure that the architecture is implemented according to the design, measuring and tracking technical/tactical debt

• Good communication skills (written / verbal)
• Ability to operate at own initiative with a pro‑active attitude, within the directions and confines of management and Bank policy
• Ability to liaise with a broad range of people, including line management, senior management, external suppliers and related people
• Problem solving ability and strong analytical skills
• Fluent English both written and oral
• Accuracy and attention to details
• Experience working in a team; exhibits clear behavior of a team player execution driven
• Demonstrated experience in hands on development leadership role
• Proven experience in Agile environments and can work individually and as a team member
• Demonstrated involvement in successful change initiatives associated with IT in business
• Work experience: 3-5y in Architecture
• Experience in Microservices Architecture, API design, Event Driven Architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and Reactive principles. Knowledge of Domain Driven Design principles and methodology is definitely a plus
• Good understanding of the security principles and patterns, at different viewpoints: application, transport, infra…
• In‑depth understanding of banking environment, products and processes

Estamos buscando a una persona con talento y entusiasmo para incorporarse al equipo de Arquitectura como Arquitecto/a de Dominio

La responsabilidad de este equipo es guiar al banco por nuevos caminos y ayudar a construir el banco del futuro para nuestras personas clientas.

Tus principales responsabilidades:

Como Arquitecto/a de Dominio, tus funciones serán:

• Identificar y definir el alcance de los Bounded Contexts dentro de su dominio, según las necesidades del negocio de los distintos Value Streams, siempre con una mentalidad orientada al objetivo.
• Co-crear los Diseños Arquitectónicos en diferentes horizontes temporales, definiendo la arquitectura objetivo, las transiciones previstas y la siguiente iteración, considerando tanto la estrategia de negocio como la tecnológica, y combinando sistemas Globales y Locales.
• Contribuir positivamente a la definición del roadmap, proporcionando orientación al negocio y al liderazgo de entrega, y evaluando el impacto de las principales iniciativas en la fase de inicio.
• Ser responsable de la integración de los servicios y plataformas dentro del dominio, optimizando los requisitos funcionales y no funcionales, y reduciendo la complejidad y la deuda arquitectónica.
• Proporcionar orientación a personas ingenieras, managers y equipos/squads del dominio, describiendo patrones de diseño en Cookbooks junto con la disciplina de Ingeniería. Describir cómo pueden implementarse estas buenas prácticas en la práctica.
• Ser responsable de los elementos del Quarterly Business Review (QBR) (3 trimestres) y aprobar los planes trimestrales y/o los Change Governance Documents (CGD).
• Asegurar que la arquitectura se implemente según el diseño, midiendo y haciendo seguimiento de la deuda técnica/táctica.

• Experiencia probada en entornos Agile y capacidad para trabajar de forma individual y en equipo.
• Participación demostrada en iniciativas de cambio exitosas relacionadas con IT en el negocio.
• Experiencia laboral: 3-5 años en Arquitectura.
• Experiencia en Arquitectura de Microservicios, diseño de APIs, Arquitectura Orientada a Eventos (Kafka, RabbitMQ) y principios Reactivos. Conocimiento de los principios y metodología de Domain Driven Design es definitivamente un plus.
• Buen conocimiento de los principios y patrones de seguridad, en distintos niveles: aplicación, transporte, infraestructura…
• Conocimiento profundo del entorno bancario, productos y procesos.
