Job Title : Senior Test Analyst / Test Engineer

Languages : German (mandatory) + English

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Analyst / Test Engineer to join a long-term project in Barcelona. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a manual functional testing service, working across both backend and frontend applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and understand business and technical requirements
• Design detailed test cases and comprehensive test plans
• Execute manual tests and track results with accuracy
• Identify, document, and manage defects throughout the lifecycle
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery
• Demonstrate proactivity in identifying improvements and supporting decision-making
• Ensure best practices are followed across QA processes

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in QA / Software Testing
• Strong background in manual functional testing (backend & frontend)
• Proven ability to design and execute test plans and cases
• Hands-on experience in defect tracking and reporting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps QA tools (desirable)
• Fluency in German (mandatory) and English
