Job summary

Rise Technical in Odense, Denmark, is seeking a Vehicle/HGV Mechanic to service, repair and maintain vehicles, heavy plant, construction and agricultural machinery in a workshop environment.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, flexitime, early finish on Friday, pension and excellent company benefits. Candidates should be proficient in Danish (B2) and have experience with diesel engines where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical servicing and repair of vehicles and heavy machinery.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.
• Must speak Danish at B2 level or higher.

The Role

• Service, repair and maintenance of vehicles and HGVs in a workshop setting, as well as heavy plant, construction, and agricultural machinery.
• Attend routine preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs onsite in Odense.

The Person:

• Vehicle Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / Field Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Forklift Technician or similar.
• Candidates with a background in Maintenance Engineering, Field Service or workshop-based mechanical work.
• Must be proficient in speaking Danish (B2 Level or above).
• Experience in mechanical servicing (knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics).
• Experience working on diesel engines would be advantageous.
