Scania Nederland B.V. in Padborg is seeking a Foreman to plan and lead workshop work, ensuring high service quality and efficiency.

You will assist the Service Manager and Advisor in organizing and executing workshop production, guiding multi-skilled teams to meet timelines and quality standards. You will oversee operations management, health and safety, quality assurance, and performance management, while coaching colleagues and ensuring preventive maintenance and effective work scheduling.

Qualifications

• Short-cycle tertiary education required.

Responsabilités

• Operations Management: Provide operational support and supervise a transactional operations area.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: Enforce HSE policies and instructions to identify risks and promote safe working methods.
• Quality Assurance: Plan and coordinate testing and inspection of products and processes; implement corrective actions.
• Leadership and Direction: Explain action plans, motivate team to achieve local business goals.
• Performance Management: Review objectives, use performance systems to improve performance, allocate work and ensure timely completion.
• Organizational Capability Building: Provide instruction to develop skills of less experienced colleagues.
• Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Work Scheduling and Allocation: Assign short-term work schedules to a team to meet timelines.
• Operational Compliance: Identify noncompliance and escalate issues according to policies.
• Internal Communications: Use internal systems to access information.
