Job summary

PEAK Wind in Copenhagen is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data & Intelligence team, building data pipelines from wind farms and solar projects to support performance analytics and asset optimisation.

You will design frontend dashboards (Power BI), collaborate with Data Engineers and Asset Managers across international functions, and translate complex datasets into clear visuals that drive actionable insights for our clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Physics, or related quantitative field.
Experience analysing operational performance data within wind industry or renewable energy sector.
Strong Power BI experience; Tableau/Alteryx or similar tools is an advantage.
Experience with SQL and/or Python is considered an advantage.
Ability to transform complex datasets into clear visualisations and reporting solutions.
Interest in user experience and dashboard design to support effective decision-making.

Responsibilities

Analyse operational data from wind assets to identify performance trends and drivers of underperformance.
Lead and manage analyses supporting performance optimisation and reporting for Asset Management teams and clients.
Collect, manage, and verify operational data for performance evaluation.
Design, develop, and maintain frontend dashboards in Power BI showing performance insights.
Collaborate with Data Engineers and backend developers to ensure reliable data flows.
Translate complex datasets into intuitive visuals for stakeholders.
Maintain documentation of analyses, dashboards, and methodologies.
Stay informed on wind industry benchmarks and analytical best practices.
