Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in WTG Engineering, Operations Technology, to strengthen reliability, safety, and lifecycle performance of electrical systems across its wind portfolio. You will bridge hands-on problem solving with fleet-wide strategy and work with engineering, asset management, operations.

You will shape HV and LV maintenance strategies, lead investigations, evaluate new technologies, and contribute to continuous improvement. Travel up to 25 days annually.

Qualifications

• Experience with wind turbine electrical life cycle and maintenance.
• Ability to lead technical investigations and RCAs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical degradation, inspection, and repair techniques.
• Experience communicating complex topics to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize maintenance strategies and asset management plans.
• Lead technical investigations and Root Cause Analyses (RCA).
• Assess technical risks and support data-driven decisions across the fleet.
• Define requirements for inspections, repairs, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
• Review proposals, support supplier selection, and evaluate technical performance.
