Job summary

RDT in Denmark is seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to lead complex software projects for wind energy operations. You will manage cross-functional teams, plan releases, and coordinate with outsourcing partners to deliver robust software for SCADA-enabled wind farms.

The role requires 5+ years of leading software projects, strong agile experience (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), and solid software architecture knowledge including edge and cloud.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading software development projects.
• Experience managing software projects using agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong foundation in modern software architectures, including edge computing and cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent communication, team building, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategy for site updates together with relevant business units.
• Plan software updates and patching of wind farms in detail.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure proper deployment of SCADA software.
• Coordinate with solution architects and test architects to ensure quality outcomes.
• Run a team of internal and external software developers supporting deployment.
• Develop detailed plans for project timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
• Ensure timely execution of projects while maintaining adherence to budgets and resource constraints.
• Lead robust risk management practices to mitigate technical and operational challenges.
• Oversee end-to-end quality, ensuring results meet business goals.
• Ensure thorough documentation of project outcomes, including all delivered products and technologies.
