Job summary

May's Sushi & Wok ApS in Viborg, Denmark is seeking an experienced chef specializing in Asian and Vietnamese cuisine to join our restaurant.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with hands-on experience in Asian and Vietnamese dishes, and the ability to work calmly in a busy kitchen, on-site in Viborg. This permanent full-time role offers a chance to contribute to our Vietnamese specialty menu.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a chef.
• Experience with Asian and Vietnamese cuisine.
• Experience preparing traditional Vietnamese dishes.
• Ability to work in a busy kitchen and under pressure.
• Able to communicate in Danish or Vietnamese.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking Vietnamese and Asian dishes
• Preparing ingredients, sauces, marinades and spice mixtures
• Preparing and developing traditional dishes from Northwestern Vietnam
• Handling orders for takeaway and restaurant service
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
• Contributing to the development of new dishes and the restaurant menu
• Working closely with the rest of the kitchen team
