Job summary

Veritaz AB is seeking an experienced Vehicle Test Engineer to plan, lead and report comprehensive vehicle testing assignments on-site at proving grounds.

You will work with measuring equipment, robot driving systems and specialized test gear to evaluate passenger cars and trucks, contributing to verification of active safety and automated driving tech, while maintaining strong customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Test Engineer in automotive.
• Bachelor or Master in a relevant technical field.
• Experience planning and executing vehicle testing.
• Fluent Swedish and English (written and spoken).
• On-site work at proving ground with valid Swedish B license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, lead, execute and report vehicle testing assignments.
• Perform testing on passenger cars and trucks.
• Conduct advanced testing on proving grounds.
• Operate driving robot systems and specialized test equipment.
• Work with measurement equipment and vehicle-specific testing systems.
• Develop and improve test methods, equipment and working procedures.
• Analyze and follow up test results.
• Support verification of active safety and automated driving technologies.
• Communicate daily with customers and represent the customer professionally.
• Contribute technical expertise to customer-facing testing activities.
