Job summary

Alfa Laval in Denmark is seeking an experienced R&D Development Engineer for valves to join our global valve team. You will focus on the development and maintenance of our hygienic valve portfolio and collaborate with colleagues in R&D and across functions to bring innovative products to market.

In this role you will contribute from concept through launch, working with CFD, CAD, and PLM to optimize the portfolio while meeting customer needs.

Qualifications

5+ years in product design or development, preferably hygienic equipment.
Strong CFD experience and willingness to further develop it.
Proficient in CAD (NX) and PLM (Siemens NX/Teamcenter).
Knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing methods in hygienic industry.
Excellent English and Danish communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with valve development and the broader R&D organization on quality, process improvement, and resource optimization.
Work closely with internal and global stakeholders to maintain a competitive valves portfolio.
Participate in projects from initial concept to product launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Support both development of new products and improvements to existing valves to meet market needs and customer requirements.
