Job summary

Flying Tiger Copenhagen seeks an UI Specialist to design and optimise the interfaces of its digital platforms, ensuring intuitive, on-brand experiences. You will own the look and feel, collaborating with our Digital Commerce Specialist and delivering high-quality designs for developers to implement.

Based at our HQ in Christianshavn, Copenhagen, this maternity cover (~10 months) will focus on wireframes, prototypes, and design systems, while supporting marketing assets and landing pages within

Qualifications

• Experience in UI design for e-commerce or digital consumer products.
• Expert in Figma, including components, auto layout and prototyping.
• Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Strong visual design skills with typography, colour and layout.
• Experience collaborating with development teams on design handoff and implementation.
• Experience designing Shopify or other theme-based e-commerce platforms is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS - Shopify Liquid is a plus.
• Experience designing for A/B tests or CRO work and using data to inform design decisions.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and a commitment to inclusive design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive UI designs that improve customer journey.
• Ensure design solutions meet brand standards, functional needs and consistency, and work within our Shopify theme and design system.
• Continuously improve interface designs using user feedback, A/B test results, data insights and industry trends.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and final designs for new features and projects, ready for development handoff.
• Collaborate with marketing and brand teams on campaign and landing page layouts within the webshop.
• Act as the key point of contact for UI decisions and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and UX best practices.
• Support the wider team with ad hoc graphic design tasks, such as web banners, campaign and social assets, email graphics and simple visual materials.

Are you passionate about creating visually engaging and user-friendly digital experiences? Here is a great opportunity to turn creative ideas into exceptional user experiences in a global retail environment.

As UI Specialist, you will design and optimise the interfaces of Flying Tiger Copenhagen's digital platforms, so they are intuitive, on-brand and easy to use.

You will work in close partnership with our Digital Commerce Specialist - they own the platform, tools and testing programme, while you own how the experience looks and feels, turning insights, test ideas and new features into clear, high-quality designs that our developers can build.

You will report to Head of Digital User Experience and will become part of an international environment at our HQ in Christianshavn, Copenhagen.

Please note that this is a maternity cover of approximately 10 months.

What you will be doing
