Job summary

UNOPS in Copenhagen is seeking a Finance Senior Analyst (Treasury Control) to support the Head of Treasury Middle Office and Control. The role focuses on building a robust treasury control framework and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial rules across global operations.

The analyst will conduct risk assessments, monitor treasury workflows, assist in KYC, sanctions screening, and documentation, and help design KPIs and dashboards for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with 4 years of relevant experience
• A master's degree (or equivalent) in any of the above disciplines with 2 years of relevant experience is required
• Appropriate professional accreditation or qualification in the area of treasury is desirable

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Know-Your-Customer (KYC) on UNOPS banking partners, financial institutions, and trading counterparties; respond to external inquiries and due diligence requests
• Support sanctions screening processes and risk-based monitoring of financial counterparties and transactions
• Monitor end-to-end treasury workflows (payments, cash pooling, FX trading, investments) to detect and prevent errors and fraud
• Assist in drafting and updating Treasury SOPs and policy documentation; coordinate internal/external audits and risk reviews
