Job summary

Upteko in Skanderborg develops and assembles drones for defense, emergency response, and critical infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced FPV drone pilot with a strong quality mindset to join as Test Drone Pilot, starting on short notice.

Experienced drone pilot with a strong quality mindset

At Upteko in Skanderborg, we develop and assemble drones for defense, emergency response, and critical infrastructure. We are looking for a Test Drone Pilot with FPV flight experience and an interest in technology, testing, and quality, who is available to start at short notice.

From prototype to operational readiness

You will be a key contributor to strengthening our quality assurance and ensuring that our drones are ready for real-world operations. You take ownership and work in a structured, systematic way, with a clear understanding of the importance of consistency, documentation, and follow-through in a professional test environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan and execute systematic test flights of prototypes and finished drones, documenting results and deviations
• Work closely with engineers and production to troubleshoot and optimize
• Help develop and improve test procedures and standards
• Ensure compliance with aviation rules and internal quality requirements
• Share your experience and support colleagues in operating our systems

Professional drone pilot with FPV experience and a structured mindset

We are looking for an experienced FPV drone pilot who works independently and systematically, while collaborating closely with engineers and production. We expect that you will bring:

• At least two years as a professional drone pilot, including flight experience with FPV drones
• Holding A1, A2 and A3 drone certificates is a plus
• Familiarity with multiple drone platforms and systems
• Practical knowledge of drone testing and documentation
• Strong technical understanding, and a structured, systematic, and quality-driven approach
• Ability to read and speak English
