Job summary

Caseware in Copenhagen, Denmark, seeks a Software Developer in Test to design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for Caseware’s web-based SaaS products.

You will collaborate with developers and product specialists to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability, and mentor junior SDET team members. The role requires mid-level QA experience, strong analytical skills, Cypress expertise, and bilingual Danish/English abilities. Remote options are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote and advocate for quality best practices across the engineering organization.

What you will do:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for Caseware’s web-based SaaS products
• Perform and coordinate functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing

What you will bring:

Mid-level (3–5 years) experience in QA, test automation, or SDET roles

• Demonstrable experience testing complex web applications, preferably SaaS products
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving
• Hands-on experience with test automation using modern tools and frameworks, specifically Cypress
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Ability to write clear, maintainable, and well-structured test cases and code
• Comfortable working within cross-functional, international teams
• Strong coordination skills and the ability to promote continuous QA awareness within the team
• Good command of both Danish and English

Nice to have:

• Experience in domains such as audit, accounting, financial reporting, or compliance software
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
• ISTQB or other QA-related certifications
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern web architectures
• Experience contributing to test strategies or quality improvement initiatives
