Job summary

DTU Wind in Denmark seeks a tenure-track researcher to investigate relationships between advanced composite manufacturing processes and mechanical performance of polymer-based composites. The candidate will teach and supervise students, publish in international journals, and expand industrial partnerships while attracting external funding to advance composite

Qualifications

  • PhD in materials science, mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in teaching at university level is desirable.
  • Strong publication record in relevant areas.
  • Fluent in Danish or English, with time to master both.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to research in curing dynamics and viscoelastic modeling of polymer composites.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance manufacturing and performance of composites.
  • Expand industrial partnerships for manufacturing optimization and performance enhancement.
  • Attract external funding to support research in composite processing.
  • Publish high-quality work in international journals on curing, viscoelasticity, and composite performance.
  • Engage in teaching and supervise students in materials science and mechanical engineering.
