Job summary

Swapfiets is seeking a technician to support our bike mechanics with repair tasks in our warehouse or store in Denmark. You will be trained to repair, check and prepare roadworthy bikes for our members, ensuring Swapfiets quality standards are met.

The role offers fixed weekday hours, involvement in a fast-paced team, and opportunities for growth within Swapfiets. Fluency in English or Danish is required, and a passion for cycling and service is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge about bikes, e-bikes, cars or related
• Affinity with cycling, mobility, sustainability and service
• Available to work 20 hours per week on weekdays
• Able to understand and speak English and/or Danish
• Works well independently or in a team

Responsibilities

• Repairs, checks, cleans, and fixes bikes following Swapfiets standards under supervision
• Prepares and pre-assembles parts needed for bikes
• Repairs tasks like wheel alignment and wheel prep for stock or projects
• Ensures repair data is up to date in the repair database
• Delivers on Swapfiets quality through procedures and audits
• Keeps the workstation clean and supports inventory management

You will be trained in repairing, checking and preparing roadworthy bikes for our members. You will make sure everyone in the warehouse delivers the Swapfiets quality standards!

How you pedal us forward!

• Repairs, checks, cleans, and fixes Bikes following Swapfiets standards, under supervision;
• Prepares and pre-assembles parts needed for bikes;
• Repairs special tasks like aligning/repairing wheels, preparing stock wheels to be installed, partial repairs for projects;
• Ensures the (E-)Bikes product and repair data is properly captured and up to date in repair database;
• Delivers on the Swapfiets quality promise following the standard operating procedures and the quality controls and audits;
• Keeps the workstation clean;
• Follows process for inventory management of (E-)Bikes and parts to keep healthy data up to date;
• Supports the team with preparations, help and cleaning;

• You have basic knowledge about bikes, e-bikes, cars or anything related;
• You have an affinity with cycling, mobility, sustainability and service;
• Available to work 20 hours per week on weekdays;
• Understand and speak English and/or Danish;
• Whether working independently or as part of a team, you always work successfully!;
