Job summary

COWI is seeking a Technical Lead to take technical responsibility for substation automation and communication systems in high-voltage projects across Denmark. You will coordinate engineering activities, manage interfaces, and ensure deliverables meet requirements and standards.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, collaborate with project managers and customers, and travel within Denmark as needed. The role demands a strong technical foundation, five-plus years in automation, and proficiency

Qualifications

Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in high-voltage automation.
Strong understanding of substation automation, control/monitoring, and interfaces.
Experience coordinating technical work packages and follow-up of deliverables.
Fluent in Danish and English, written and spoken.
Ability to obtain security clearance and work on-site as holdleder.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the technical delivery of substation automation and communication systems.
Plan and follow up on engineering activities, deliverables and milestones.
Coordinate specialist contributions and ensure consistency across work packages.
Ensure documentation complies with project requirements and standards.
Manage interfaces between automation, communication systems, protection, and auxiliaries.
Identify and resolve technical issues with specialists.
Participate in project meetings and advise on technical matters.
Coordinate activities with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
