Job summary

Vestas seeks a proactive leader to manage the offshore service campaign stockkeeping team responsible for materials, spare parts, tools and consumables across harbours and vessels in North and Central Europe. You will plan workloads, supervise performance, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires strong leadership, logistics knowledge, and experience with SAP/AX. You will drive safety culture, optimize inventory, and collaborate with Campaign Operations to meet offshore needs.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship and/or degree in warehouse management or logistics.
• Wind industry warehouse experience is beneficial.
• Customs knowledge adds value in this environment.
• Proficient with SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, TMS and SAP/AX.
• Strong communication and team management skills.
• Good time management, planning and scheduling.
• Ability to follow instructions and ensure compliance with local laws.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP and coordinate with project meetings for alignment with Service Campaign and schedules.
• Coordinate with other team leads to ensure timely storage and warehouse dynamics across harbors and vessels.
• Support planned and unplanned service events and promote a strong safety culture among stockkeepers.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in offshore operations.
• Own training matrix for the team and organize information for stockkeepers across ports in NCE.
• Support audits and contribute to the offshore operation structure from a Supply Chain perspective.

The Vestas NCE Service Supply Chain Repair & Tools Department is responsible for the logistic and warehouse operations of harbor and vessel warehouses throughout NCE. We are supporting Vestas Offshore Sites, Service Campaign Operations and other departments with functions to install, service and upgrade the wind turbines in multiple windfarms across the European seas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team of service campaign stockkeepers handling materials, spare parts, tools, and consumables for offshore operations, Plan daily workloads, allocate tasks, and monitor performance to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Conduct regular team briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Make sure the team supports Service Campaign Operations and maintain accurate inventory records in SAP. Attend to project meetings seeking alignment from Service Campaign and liaising best operations and schedules for our team on vessels and harbors.
• Coordinate with other team leads when materials are arriving in their harbor warehouses and ensure timely storage and warehouse dynamics to support the offshore operations in different sites throughout North and Central Europe(NCE).
• Support planned and unplanned service events to meet expectation. Promote a strong safety culture among stockkeepers.
• Lead team to report incidents, improve on their safety standards and advocate for process adherence. Monitor KPIs (GR on time, YMM not delivered cleaned) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Have ownership on training matrix for the team and organize information with requirements for stockkeepers to operate in different ports in NCE.
• Support audits and inspections.Support Supply Chain Operations Manager in creating structure for operations, and develop the overall offshore operation dynamic from a Supply Chain perspective.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship and/or degree from an education in warehouse-management or logistics
• Warehouse experience from the Wind Industry will be beneficial
• Customs knowledge will earn you additional points in this environment
• Computer knowledge: SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, TMS, ERP system (SAP/AX)
• Outstanding communication & Team management skills
• Time management, planning, scheduling, system-thinking skills
• Adherence and compliance with local laws and regulations (Being able to find and follow instructions turning them into concrete actions within the team.)
