Høje-Taastrup, Denmark
Help secure the reliable supply of production materials that supports manufacturing across Novo Nordisk. As a Supply Planner, you will combine planning, supplier collaboration and data-driven decision-making to help ensure materials are available when and where they are needed.
In this position, you will join Global Supplier Operations and take responsibility for sourcing production materials and managing purchase orders within assigned material categories. Your overall objective will be to maintain a stable supply while balancing quality and delivery.
You will work across an international supply chain, acting as an important link between suppliers, manufacturing sites and internal functions. The role requires you to understand changing production needs, translate them into purchasing plans and address supply challenges proactively.
You will be authorised to act on behalf of Novo Nordisk in interactions with external suppliers and to purchase relevant production materials within the applicable approval framework. You will also be expected to challenge existing ways of working and contribute to improving processes within your area of supply chain responsibility.
You will become part of Global Supplier Operations a department responsible for supporting the global supply of materials to Novo Nordisk production sites. The department works closely with manufacturing sites and a broad range of internal and external partners to help protect production continuity.
The environment is international, collaborative and fast-moving. Successful planning depends on effective coordination across functions, particularly when production plans, inventory positions or supplier delivery schedules change. You will therefore have the opportunity to build relationships throughout a large global organisation while developing your knowledge of sourcing, planning and regulated supply chains.
We are looking for someone who combines supply chain knowledge with a structured and proactive approach. You are comfortable handling several priorities at once, meeting deadlines and communicating with stakeholders who may have different needs or perspectives.
To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:
You approach challenges with curiosity and initiative. You take ownership of follow-up activities, keep information accurate and communicate early when supply conditions change.
