Your new role

As Senior Clinical Supply Manager, you will take ownership of clinical supply strategies across global trials, ensuring delivery excellence from study start-up through to close-out. You will act as a trusted partner within cross-functional trial teams, balancing operational execution with strategic oversight to secure uninterrupted supply to patients. Experience from clinical studies and working with CROs, oversight responsibilities, and stakeholder management is strongly preferred.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, and external partners, contributing to key decisions that shape clinical trial success.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Leading and executing robust clinical supply strategies across complex, global trials to ensure timely and compliant delivery
• Acting as the Clinical Supplies representative in Trial Teams, influencing protocol design, timelines, and key supply decisions
• Driving operational excellence by monitoring trial performance, supply KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Managing and overseeing external partners such as CROs and CMOs, ensuring quality deliverables and strong collaboration; experience with CRO oversight is preferred
• Proactively identifying risks and leading mitigation actions to maintain uninterrupted supply and high-quality trial execution

Your new department

You will join Supply Chain Planning (SCP), an integral part of CMC Clinical Supplies at Novo Nordisk. The department plays a vital role in ensuring that clinical trial products are available globally at the right time, quality, and quantity.

Working at the intersection of supply chain management and regulatory requirements, SCP supports the full clinical development lifecycle. The environment is highly collaborative, offering strong exposure across functions and opportunities to contribute to the development of future treatments.

Your Skills And Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you bring strong supply chain or engineering expertise combined with a proactive and structured mindset. A background in clinical trial supply is highly valued, and experience from clinical studies, working with CROs, oversight responsibilities, and stakeholder management is strongly preferred. You are comfortable working in complex, global environments and skilled at building relationships across functions.

We Expect You To Have

• A MSc in Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Engineering, or another related scientific/technical discipline, along with relevant experience in pharma, biotech, clinical supply, or a comparable regulated environment
• Experience supporting global clinical trials across multiple phases, from start-up to close-out, is preferred
• Strong knowledge of clinical development processes, ICH-GCP, and GMP/GDP requirements
• Experience with supply forecasting, IRT systems, packaging and labelling, and vendor management
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority

What We Offer

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from DKK651,000 to DKK956,900, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
