Job summary

Universal Robots, part of Teradyne Robotics, is seeking a Supply Line Engineer in Odense, South Denmark. In this role, you will be the go-to person for supplier quality, focusing on drives for performance, audits, and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in supplier quality, strong skills in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D methodologies, and a mechanical background is preferred. Join us to make a real impact on manufacturing quality and supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• Solve issues using 8D and root cause analysis.
• Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations.

Your role

You’ll be the go‑to person for supplier quality — from initial selection to products in the field.

You will:

• Drive supplier performance (DPPM, NCRs, On‑Time Delivery)
• Lead NPI activities and ensure supplier readiness
• Perform audits (including VDA 6.3) and develop suppliers
• Solve issues using 8D and root cause analysis
• Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations

In short: You make sure quality is built in — not inspected in.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years in supplier or manufacturing quality
• Strong experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D
• Audit experience (ISO 9001 / VDA standards)
• Solid technical understanding (preferably mechanical).

As a person you’re structured, data‑driven, and able to drive improvements across teams using your good communication skills.
