Job summary

A European research organization is seeking a summer worker for the role of Web Developer within the Scientific Information Management Systems Group. The position, based at DTU in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, focuses on developing critical software for neutron scattering experiments, enhancing the user portal, and maintaining code quality. Qualifications

• Strong, up-to-date React and TypeScript development skills.
• Experience working with NodeJS and PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Experience writing tests using Jest and Cypress.
• Ability to quickly understand complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical software for neutron scattering experiments.
• Develop the ESS user portal and metadata catalogue.
• Enhance user experience and fix existing bugs.
