Job summary

The LEGO Group seeks a Tech Ops Student Worker to support hardware and software resources across LEGO Game. You will assist with daily ops, research, data analysis, and documentation, and help maintain licenses and configurations.

Qualifications

  • Basic familiarity with DevOps and IT administration or system management.
  • Experience with cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Some scripting experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Structured, detail-oriented mindset for tracking software/hardware resources.
  • Strong problem-solving and proactive troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with IT and game dev teams.
  • Gaming interest is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian Suite (JIRA/Confluence).
  • Danish and English at C1-C2 levels.

Responsibilities

  • Set up/manage software licenses, permissions, configurations.
  • Liaise with internal IT to resolve issues.
  • Monitor and improve development workflows and deployment processes.
  • Assist in automating infrastructure and development environments.
  • Support onboarding with tools/access for new employees.
  • Keep up with emerging tech and security best practices.

Job description

As a Tech Ops Student Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, tracking, and optimizing hardware and software resources across LEGO Game.

Core Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day operations within the respective department and team
  • Support team members on ongoing projects by conducting research, data analysis, and compiling reports
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement
  • Help create and maintain documentation for processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with other interns and staff to complete assigned tasks and projects
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support team objectives
  • Maintaining, cataloging, and documenting hardware and software used across LEGO Game teams.
  • Ensuring all team members have access to the platforms, tools, and environments they need.
  • Setting up and managing software licenses, permissions, and configurations.
  • Liaising with internal IT teams to facilitate smooth operations and resolve technical issues.
  • Monitoring and improving development workflows, deployment processes, and system performance.
  • Assisting in automating and optimizing infrastructure and development environments.
  • Supporting onboarding processes by ensuring new employees have the necessary tools and access.
  • Keeping track of emerging technologies and best practices to improve efficiency and security.

Do you have what it takes?

A student of Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Basic knowledge of DevOps practices, IT administration, or system management.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus.

  • A structured and detail-oriented mindset for tracking and managing software and hardware resources.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
