Job description

Do you want to gain hands-on experience with embedded software and work on technology used in some of the world’s leading sports tracking solutions?

At Trackman, we are looking for a Student Worker to join our Device Platform team, where you will become part of a small and collaborative team working with the software behind our market-leading sports tracking products.

As part of the team, you will get the opportunity to work closely with both software and hardware, contribute to real product development, and take on a variety of technical tasks. No two days will necessarily look the same, and you will have plenty of opportunities to learn along the way.

What will you be doing?

Depending on current projects and priorities, your tasks may include:

  • Setting up and developing unit tests for software features
  • Developing new features for our REST APIs, camera systems, and other device-related functionality
  • Conducting root cause analyses and investigating technical issues
  • Supporting the development and improvement of software running directly on our hardware
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure stable and reliable solutions across our products

You will be working with industry-leading products where stability and reliability are key, giving you hands-on experience with software that ultimately becomes part of real-world Trackman solutions.

Job requirements
What are we looking for?

We are looking for a curious and motivated student who enjoys solving technical problems and learning through hands‑on experience.

We imagine that you:

  • Are currently studying a relevant technical degree within software, computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Have a solid understanding of general programming concepts
  • Have experience with or an interest in software that interacts with hardware
  • Have some familiarity with Python, C++, Bash/Shell, or similar programming languages
  • Are comfortable – or interested in becoming comfortable – working with Linux and terminal‑based environments
  • Can work independently while also enjoying being part of a small, collaborative team
  • Are curious, proactive, and motivated to develop your technical skills
  • Speak and write English fluently.
  • Can work 10-15 hours per week on site at Trackman's headquarters in DTU Science Park, Hørsholm (We understand your university workload so we are flexible with working hours)

You do not need to be an expert in all of our technologies from day one. What matters most is that you have a solid programming foundation and are motivated to learn.
