Job summary

Danfoss in Copenhagen is seeking a Student Worker in Global Public Affairs to support strategic priorities and policy outreach. You'll work with the Global Public Affairs team, gaining hands-on experience in climate and energy topics that align with Danfoss' sustainability ambitions.

You'll draft materials, monitor developments, and help plan meetings and events, while developing project-management and communication skills in a dynamic corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Currently a student in political science, international business and politics or similar.
• We would prefer if you have at least a year or more left before you graduate.
• Interest in climate and energy topics from a business perspective – previous experience is an asset.
• A problem-solver with a can-do attitude, organizational skills, and ability to manage time and projects.
• Curious mindset, with a strong motivation to explore new and technical topics.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills with an eye for detail. Danish skills are an advantage but not a prerequisite.
• A team player who can also work independently and excels at prioritising different tasks and ensuring timely follow-up on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of strategic priorities through project management, research, and communication activities.
• Draft position papers, policy briefs, presentations, and op-eds on national and global climate and energy topics.
• Monitor political and legislative developments relevant to Danfoss and our stakeholders.
• Conduct research on climate, energy, industry, and public policy topics.
• Support the planning and execution of meetings, events, and other ad hoc activities.
