Job summary

Ascendis Pharma in Denmark is seeking a student assistant for the ESG team to support development of ESG data processes, focusing on greenhouse gas emissions. You’ll work with data across our organization and supply chain, assisting calculations and validation of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.

You will join a team of nine colleagues within Compliance, Risk Management, Data Privacy and ESG, contributing to data quality, traceability and broader ESG reporting.

Qualifications

• Starting the first year of a Master’s in environmental engineering, sustainability, environmental science or another relevant field with a strong quantitative component.
• Passion for sustainability and comfort with data analysis and solving analytical problems.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support the collection, analysis and validation of environmental data across the organization and our supply chain, focusing on Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
• Assist GHG calculations and maintain underlying data, emission factors, assumptions and calculation files.
• Maintain documentation of GHG calculation methodologies and data collection processes for external reporting and assurance.
• Support environmental data analysis and preparation of sustainability KPIs.
• Contribute to broader ESG reporting as relevant.
