Job summary

Netcompany Institute is seeking two student assistants to support data-driven analyses on AI and digitalisation in Europe. You will work around 16 hours per week and join a small team led by Analytics Consultants and a Chief Economist, with opportunities to grow into independent ownership of analyses.

Ideal candidates are in the final year of a bachelor’s or pursuing a master’s degree in economics, political science, statistics, or data science, with strong English skills and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Final-year bachelor or master's student in economics, political science, statistics, data science or similar.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Comfortable working with data; proficient in Excel and at least one of Python, R or Stata.

Responsibilities

• Support analyses from framing questions to communicating results.
• Monitor policy developments and research on AI and digitalisation in Europe.
• Collect and structure data from Eurostat, OECD and statistical offices.
• Produce descriptive statistics, tables and charts publication-ready.
• Write analytical text and fact-check sources.
