Job summary

Centrica plc in Denmark seeks a Student Assistant for our Origination and Contract Management team in Copenhagen or Aalborg. The role offers hands-on exposure to pricing requests, production data analysis, and contract support within an international energy trading context.

You are currently studying in business, natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, with strong Excel skills and some Python or R experience. Knowledge of SQL and TypeScript/Angular is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Studying a degree in business, natural sciences, engineering, mathematics or related field.
• Strong Excel skills and data handling ability.
• Some experience with Python or R is desirable; SQL and TS/Angular are a plus.
• Structured, independent, proactive mindset with good English and Italian language skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing requests for wind and solar assets.
• Process, analyse, and visualise production data.
• Communicate with wind/solar park operators.
• Assist contract management activities.
• Contribute to internal tools development (Python, TS/Angular).
• Contribute to market analyses and new business initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the handling of pricing requests for wind and solar energy assets
• Process, analyse, and visualise production data
• Communicate with operators of wind and solar parks
• Support contract management activities
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal tools (Python, TypeScript/Angular)
• Bring in and further develop your own ideas by contributing to market analyses, new business initiatives, and internal projects

What We Are Looking For

• You are currently studying a degree in business, natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• You enjoy working with data and ideally have some experience with Python or R. Knowledge of SQL and TypeScript/Angular is an advantage
• You work in a structured and independent manner and are eager to take initiative
• You have excellent Italian language skills and good English proficiency
