Novonesis is seeking a Student Assistant to support biostatisticians and animal scientists in managing data from in-vivo research. You will help ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and reliability for high-quality scientific decision-making within a global research setting.

The role offers hands-on experience with biological data, data systems, and statistical tools, contributing to life cycle management and scientific innovation in animal agriculture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Animal Science, Biology, Biostatistics, or Statistics.
• Practical experience using R for data handling, analysis, or programming.
• Strong interest in biological data, data quality, and data management.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently while contributing in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage data from in-vivo experiments, including formatting, validating, and connecting datasets using Novonesis data templates.
• Ensure in-vivo trial data and supporting documentation are complete and stored properly.
• Maintain and clean key in-vivo trial databases to improve data quality and usability.
• Support data summaries, reporting, and process improvement related to biostatistics and animal science.
• Perform basic data quality checks and collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues.

Your work will help ensure that data is accurate, accessible, and reliable, enabling high-quality scientific decision-making across our global research organization.
