Job summary

Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI) invites a Student Assistant to join the Engineering & Technology CAPEX team. You will support project managers across AFI sites, contribute to governance and global templates, and help communicate project progress.

This role offers hands-on exposure to large-scale investment projects within the dairy supply chain. You will work 10–15 hours per week, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and explore how AI tools can enhance efficiency and personal effectiveness in

Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI) is looking for a Student Assistant to join our global Engineering & Technology CAPEX team. We are the team that plan and execute large investment projects at out factories, including new process lines, buildings and utilities. This is a unique opportunity to help shape how we govern and execute complex investment projects within Supply Chain and across our international production sites.

How Will You Make An Impact

As our new Student Assistant, you will play an active role in supporting the Engineering and Capex team and helping us drive smarter, more efficient ways of working. You will work with project managers and stakeholders across AFI and contribute to a wide range of tasks, including

• Lead the establishment of an internal global site acting as the central hub for all capex project managers across AFI sites, in this also securing a sustainable global communications platform.
• Support the continuous development of project governance, tools and templates.
• Support the build-up of Global Engineering standards, in this support securing and maintaining a healthy pipeline for next year.
• Support and co-lead the exploration of how AI tools can improve project execution, project- and portfolio governance as well as everyday personal effectiveness.
• Provide project and team support where needed, most likely through data analysis, training material, workshop facilitation, and preparation of documentation and presentations.
• Contribute to team communication materials and updates.

• Are reliable and communicative, and can communicate effectively in English – both spoken and written.

Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have experience with AI tools, e.g. Copilot.
