Job summary

Alfa Laval Corporate AB’s Student Assistant role involves joining the eCommerce team to enhance customer experience across a large portfolio of Shopify-based webshops. You’ll gain hands-on experience with UX/UI, content management, analytics, and digital design.

We seek a motivated student pursuing a degree in Digital Design or related fields, with passion for UX/UI, a commercial mindset, and comfort in an eCommerce environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant degree in Digital Design, Multimedia Design, E-commerce, Marketing, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and create digital assets such as banners, images, and promotional content.
• Implement approved designs and content across multiple webshops.
• Create mockups to support new webshop initiatives and improvements.
• Assist with UX/UI optimization and contribute ideas to improve the customer journey.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and resolving webshop issues and bugs.
• Work systematically with design and content implementation across a large number of webshops.

About the job

As our Student Assistant, you will be part of our eCommerce team, supporting a growing global network of webshops. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience across a large portfolio of Shopify-based webshops. You will gain hands-on experience with UX/UI, content management, analytics, and digital design.

Key tasks

• Design and create digital assets such as banners, images, and promotional content
• Implement approved designs and content across multiple webshops

You are a motivated student with a passion for eCommerce, user experience, and digital design. You thrive in a creative environment and enjoy turning ideas into engaging online experiences. You are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing creative and structured tasks.

What you know

• You are currently pursuing a relevant degree within Digital Design, Multimedia Design, E-commerce, Marketing, IT, or a related field
• You are passionate about UX/UI and creating great digital experiences
• You are creative with a commercial mindset
• You are comfortable working in an eCommerce environment
• You have experience with design tools such as Figma and/or Canva
• You are skilled at creating mockups and visual concepts with a clear purpose
• You are detail-oriented and able to work independently
• You are motivated by both creative work and structured implementation tasks
• You are interested in troubleshooting and improving digital solutions
• You are comfortable managing multiple tasks and maintaining attention to detail across a large webshop portfolio

Nice to have

• Experience with Shopify or other CMS/eCommerce platforms
• Familiarity with digital content management
