Job summary

Milestone Systems is seeking a Student Assistant, IT Data Analyst at our Brøndby headquarters, Denmark. You will support data-related work across the organization, focusing on the IT department, creating reports and insights that drive decision-making.

Initially you’ll produce reports, with opportunities to expand into data analysis and business discussions as your skills grow. The role is based on-site in Brøndby with flexible development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a related field within IT, Data Science, Data Analytics or studying business with a flair for data analytics and insights.
• Comfortable using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Familiarity with DAX, the coding language of Power BI, or exposure to SQL basics.
• Ability to recognize and perform common data preprocessing tasks, such as data cleaning and transformations.
• High level of English skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Create and update reports guided by stakeholders’ requirements, collaborating with team members on data gathering, organization, and visualization.
• Maintain data integrity through routine maintenance and by troubleshooting errors with clear communication of resolutions.
• Provide assistance in creating PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets as needed.

We are looking for a Student Assistant, IT Data Analyst to join the team at our headquarters in Brøndby, Denmark.

Role Summary

As a Student Assistant, IT Data Analyst, you’ll support data-related work across the organization, with a focus on the IT department. You’ll contribute to data‑driven decision‑making by managing and analyzing IT data—including costs associated with software, hardware, and other IT resources—and helping ensure accuracy and transparency in this area.

You’ll have room to influence your role as your skills grow. Initially, you’ll focus on creating reports and insights that help decision‑makers, and over time you can move closer to data analysis and business discussions.

What You Will Do

Create and Update Reports

• Assist in creating new reports to address specific needs, guided by stakeholders’ requirements.
• Collaborate closely with team members to gather and organize data, and contribute to report development through data loading, transformation, and visualization techniques.
• Support the updating of existing reports as needs evolve, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

Maintain Data Integrity

• Assist in routine maintenance tasks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot errors and communicate resolutions effectively to team members.

Support Other Tools and Platforms

• Provide assistance in creating PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets as needed.

What You Bring to The Team
