DANX Carousel is seeking a Strategy Manager to join the Strategy & M&A team at our Ishøj headquarters. You will drive group strategic projects, oversee post-merger integrations, and push AI-driven value creation across the organization.

You’ll work with the Group CFO, Finance, and broader group, with some travel in Europe. The role emphasizes problem definition, analysis, recommendations, and implementation, supported by strong analytics and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

DANX Carousel is looking for a Strategy Manager to join our Strategy & M&A team.

About the Role:

Strategy and M&A team, reporting to the Group CFO, responsible for the group's strategic agenda, acquisitions and post-merger integrations. We are looking for a Strategy Manager to drive group projects of strategic relevance and to play a pivotal role in integrating the companies we acquire. You will take initiatives from problem definition through analysis and recommendations to implementation, and help the group identify where AI can create real value.

You will report to the Head of Strategy and M&A, work closely with colleagues across Group Finance and the wider group, and be based at our headquarters in Ishøj. Expect some travel in Europe, as integration work means spending time with the teams and sites involved.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive group projects of strategic relevance end to end, from problem definition and analysis through to recommendations and implementation.
• Play a pivotal role in post-merger integrations, from pre-close planning through to hand-over to business as usual, owning the plan, governance and milestones.
• Coordinate workstream leads across functions and track synergy realisation to ensure deal value is delivered.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI across the group and support their implementation together with the business and Technology.
• Prepare analyses and materials for steering committees and executive management, keeping decision-makers ahead of the issues.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the group, unblocking issues and escalating when decisions are needed.
• Develop and improve our strategy and integration playbooks to embed best practice across the group.

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering Management or similar.
• 2–4 years of strategy experience, preferably from management consulting or an internal strategy house, with hands‑on involvement in strategic projects or post‑merger integrations.
• Strongly analytical and structured, with excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to turn analysis into clear recommendations for senior management.
• A genuine interest in AI and how it can create value in a business.

Desired:

• Experience implementing AI solutions in a business setting.
• A project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Prosci.
• Hands‑on experience with project tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet or Jira.
• Familiarity with the logistics industry.
• Experience in a fast paced changing environment (private equity or similar).
