Job summary

Topsoe in Denmark is looking for a Raw Materials Planner and Purchaser who will ensure a reliable flow of raw materials, components and services to support production and operational continuity. The role focuses on day-to-day planning and purchasing activities.

You will coordinate with supply planning, procurement, production and suppliers to optimize inventory, balance lead times and costs, and escalate risks.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, purchasing, supply chain coordination.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is essential; SAP is an advantage.
• Fluency in Danish and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan raw material requirements based on production schedules and supply plans.
• Create, monitor, and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify and escalate potential material shortages or supply risks.
• Optimize inventory levels balancing lead times, cost, and production needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules, quantities and issue resolution.
• Maintain and update planning parameters within the ERP/MRP system.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, logistics and suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement of planning and material management processes.
