Job summary

Ammega Group in Denmark is seeking a production planner to oversee and optimize production planning and capacity management. You will plan and coordinate current and future production, ensuring efficient use of capacity, machines, materials and labor.

The role requires running MRP, maintaining ERP master data and monitoring order flow to meet delivery reliability. You will collaborate across production, purchasing, warehouse, sales and customer service to drive KPI-focused improvements.

Responsibilities

Prepare, maintain and follow up on production and capacity plans.
Plan and coordinate both ongoing and future production.
Ensure optimal utilization of production capacity, machines, materials and workforce resources.
Run MRP and ensure material availability.
Monitor, prioritize and optimize order flow throughout production.
Reprioritize production orders according to Supply Chain Management guidelines.
Analyze capacity challenges and identify bottlenecks.
Initiate repairs and production preparation activities when needed.
Coordinate activities across production, purchasing, warehouse, sales and customer service.
Follow up on production orders, lead times and delivery reliability.
Maintain master data in the ERP system.
Prepare KPIs and analyses focused on capacity utilization, inventory tied-up capital and delivery performance.
Contribute to the optimization and standardization of workflows and processes.
