Job summary

Aeven is seeking an experienced Core Infrastructure Architect to lead network service design and delivery, shaping our portfolio and delivering high-impact infrastructure solutions for customers.

You will collaborate with customers, service owners, project teams, security specialists, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable, secure network architectures and designs. This role emphasizes strategic thinking and practical implementation across data centers and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years or more of relevant experience within enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience in architecture, implementation, or operations.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI and datacenter networking.
• Experience with MPLS, WAN, and enterprise networking.
• Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS.
• Network automation using Ansible, Terraform, or Python.
• Experience assessing security advisories, vulnerabilities, and remediation priorities.
• Understanding of security patch management and IT service management.
• Good communication skills with customers and technical teams.
• Experience from a managed services provider or technical consultancy is a plus.
• Relevant Cisco certifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain network service architecture, roadmaps, and lifecycle plans.
• Drive service improvements, standardization, automation, and adoption of new technologies.
• Ensure services remain technically competitive, secure, and commercially sustainable.
• Maintain architectural standards, service designs, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation and security lifecycle activities with teams.
• Support service business cases, cost models, pricing, and capacity planning.
• Act as solution architect and technical advisor in customer projects.
• Translate requirements into secure, scalable network solutions.
• Develop and review high-level and low-level designs.
• Provide technical guidance during implementation with engineering and delivery teams.
• Support customer workshops, presales, and estimations.
• Coordinate activities across customers, projects, vendors, and operations.
