Are you passionate about supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and driving business value through effective purchasing?
The Purchasing function is becoming increasingly important in supporting a profitable and competitive business. The need for optimizing commercial terms, lead times, supplier performance, and inventory levels has never been greater. To strengthen our Purchasing team at Kyocera Fastening Solutions, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer.
In this role, you will ensure that products are sourced and procured in the most cost-effective and efficient manner while building strong supplier relationships and supporting the continued development of our supply chain.
You have experience within Purchasing, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or similar and excel in commercial negotiations and supplier relationship management. Hands-on experience working with suppliers and manufacturers across both Asia and Europe is essential.
You have an analytical approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to drive purchasing performance and supplier collaboration.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, you have completed a relevant business or technical qualification combined with practical experience.
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office is an advantage. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required, while German language skills are considered a plus.
Approximately 50 international travel days per year may be expected.
