Job summary

Kyocera Fastening Solutions France in Sunds, Denmark, is seeking a Product Category Manager to develop and expand assigned product categories while ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and alignment with customer needs. You will work with teams across Europe in Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Operations to grow the product portfolio.

Product Category Manager

Location: Sunds, Denmark

Are you passionate about turning customer needs and market opportunities into business growth?

As a Product Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing assigned product categories while ensuring they remain competitive, profitable, and aligned with customer needs. You will work closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Operations, playing a key role in driving business growth across Europe.

The Product Category Management team consists of four colleagues located in strategic locations across Europe, working together to strengthen our product portfolio and market position.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute category strategies that support growth, profitability, and long-term business objectives.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including new product development, portfolio optimization, and product phase-out.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
• Own product master data, pricing, and profitability for assigned categories.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure effective product positioning, successful launches, and product availability.
• Deliver product expertise and training across the organization and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external partners.
• Monitor category performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

You have experience within Product Management, Category Management, or a similar commercial role and enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. You are commercially driven, analytical, and capable of turning market insights into concrete business opportunities.

You have experience managing product portfolios, pricing strategies, and product development activities. Experience with master data management is a must, as is experience from an international business environment. Industry experience is preferred but not required.

You communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels and are comfortable collaborating across countries and functions. Fluency in English is required.
