Job summary

JD Sports Fashion Finland Oy in Copenhagen is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the team and deliver outstanding customer experiences in-store.

You will support the Store Manager with daily operations, KPI tracking and staff development, while ensuring high standards in visual merchandising, stock control and service excellence. You will mentor colleagues, recruit and train new starters, and drive sales through hands-on leadership and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading and motivating a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• IT proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop staff, support recruitment and inductions.
• Analyse store KPIs and drive targets with the team.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle complaints.
• Lead visual merchandising, pricing and stock display.
• Assist with day-to-day operations and floor coverage.
