Job summary

Dreamdata, a Copenhagen-based leader in B2B marketing analytics, is hiring a Staff Insights Engineer to build and scale the data foundation behind benchmarks and insights. You will own analytics engineering, data science, and warehouse workflows, working closely with the marketing team to ensure fast, accurate, and well caveated numbers.

You will model datasets, enforce anonymization, and craft robust methodologies so published figures are trusted across the industry.

Qualifications

• Production SQL at depth, with window functions and large event tables.
• End-to-end data warehouse ownership, dimensional/semantic modeling, and CI/tests in a framework like dbt.
• Real statistical grounding: sampling, confidence intervals, cohort/time-to-event analysis.
• Aggregation, anonymization, and minimum-cohort rules you can defend to a security reviewer.
• Clear technical writing: methodology notes marketers can understand and analysts cannot challenge.
• Analytically correct charts with proper denominators and honest axes.
• Genuine curiosity about B2B go-to-market dynamics.
• Autonomy and fluency with AI tooling (e.g., Claude, Cursor).

Responsibilities

• Own the self-service layer and internal tooling for marketing analytics.
• Own warehouse models, data pipelines, tests, and published figures.
• Define and enforce aggregation, anonymization, and methodology for benchmarks.
• Develop and document methodology notes explaining what numbers show and do not show.
• Collaborate with marketing on editorial calendar and narrative, while owning upstream data work.
