Job summary

Unity Technologies is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join the Automation and Tooling Team. You will help build and maintain CI pipelines across desktop, mobile, consoles, XR and embedded systems, ensuring thorough testing before releases.

You will work with platform specialists and development teams to improve coverage and stability, leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and drive quality across Unity’s engines and editors.

Qualifications

• Experience with Unity and its usage.
• Programming experience in C#, with Python experience.
• Experience with CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Experience with AI tools usage (Claude).
• Analytical mindset with ability to debug across code and infrastructure.
• Team player thriving in a cross-site environment.
• 0–3 years of professional working experience.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining CI pipelines for Unity across supported platforms.
• Building and improving tools and frameworks for optimizing platform and test coverage.
• Troubleshooting complex, failing CI scenarios across code and infrastructure.
• Coordinating test infrastructure changes with development teams, platform teams, and other stakeholders.
• Advocating good engineering practices and ensuring tooling around quality is valued.
