Reel, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, is seeking a Software Engineer focusing on infrastructure. You will help keep the systems Reel relies on reliable and secure, from real-time grid-scale assets to the platform customers use daily.

You will work with the CTO and engineers to keep foundations solid and boring in the best possible way. We value simple, proven solutions that let the product and team move faster.

Qualifications

• You have shipped production software and take ownership.
• You have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code.
• You care deeply about reliability and security.
• You default to simple, proven solutions and align with product needs.
• You have experience with networking, VPNs, and data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Keep core systems reliable and up to date, including grid-scale assets and real-time data.
• Build secure connections between the platform and physical solar, wind, and battery assets.
• Strengthen security practices across the engineering team and support audits.
• Keep data infrastructure fast, reliable, and cost-efficient; build internal data tools.
• Participate in code reviews and influence technical decisions shaping infrastructure.
