Job summary

Solvexis by Studibo is seeking a Site Safety Coordinator (SSC-B) for construction projects. You will coordinate health, safety, and logistics on-site, acting on behalf of the Owner/Client to ensure compliance with EU and local regulations.

You will lead safety meetings, update safety plans, perform audits, and suspend unsafe work when required. Strong communication with contractors and project teams is essential to drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in construction site coordination and health & safety management.
• Strong knowledge of directives and local occupational health & safety regulations.
• Proven ability to lead safety meetings, audits, and contractor coordination activities.
• Skilled in preparing and updating safety documentation and reports.
• Confident decision-maker, able to intervene and suspend unsafe work when required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with contractors, clients, and project teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, propose countermeasures, and drive improvements.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Danish language skills are an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate health, safety, and logistics in all common areas of the construction site.
• Update and manage Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) and Site-Specific Logistic Plans (SSLP).
• Lead design safety reviews and ensure safety is embedded in project planning and execution.
• Organize and lead contractor start-up meetings, inductions, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor daily operations, conduct safety audits, and ensure compliance with EU/local legislation.
• Suspend unsafe activities and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Support site logistics, signage, and access control to maintain a safe work environment.
• Lead weekly coordination and safety meetings with contractors.
• Produce regular safety reports, audits, and trend analyses to improve safety performance continuously.

Overall Purpose

As the Site Safety Coordinator (SSC-B), you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment on construction sites.
