Trackunit A/S is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to help run and scale our IoT platform that serves 15,000+ users daily. You’ll join our Europe-based SRE team and work on AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform and Argo CD, balancing reliability with continuous improvement.
The role offers hybrid work from Denmark with on-call rotation, incident response, and collaboration across developers. We value curiosity, practical problem solving, and the ability to ship small, well-tested changes that make
With an IoT platform connecting more than 6 million units — and growing — Trackunit is building the platform that will enable the construction industry to work faster, smarter, and more securely. And we need you to help run and scale it.
As an SRE, you will join our Europe-based team and be part of a global SRE organization spanning Europe and Canada. This is a hands‑on role focused on the daily operation and continuous improvement of our platform, with room to grow into larger design and architecture work as you build depth.
The platform owned by SRE consists of an AWS cloud, Kubernetes clusters (EKS), and our IaC setup running Terraform and Terramate, as well as a GitOps delivery platform built on Argo CD and Atlantis.
We support engineering teams with 150+ developers. You will help keep a platform used by 15,000+ active users every day secure, available, and easy to build on.
We're looking for someone curious and collaborative — happy to share knowledge and ask questions as well.
roughly 2–5 years in an SRE, DevOps, platform, or infrastructure operations role. If you're further along and the day‑to‑day scope appeals to you, apply anyway — we'll have the conversation.
With locations in the heart of Copenhagen, Kolding, Aarhus, and Aalborg, we offer a flexible setup with the possibility to work from one of our locations — or remotely from anywhere in Denmark.
Your week will be a mix of keeping things running well and making them better.
We think you'll need
experience with AI tooling is not a requirement. An interest in working with it is. We already use AI in our daily engineering work — including MCP servers and agents against our own platform — and we expect that to grow. We don’t expect you to have experience with this—but we do expect curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Don't meet every single requirement? No worries — this is what we're looking for ideally, but if you're excited about this role and your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we still encourage you to apply.
We hire at this level expecting you to move beyond it, and we've structured the team so that happens on purpose rather than by accident.
Trackunit is moving from a SaaS company to a platform built on telemetry data from the construction industry worldwide. For SRE, that means going beyond delivering infrastructure to building the capabilities that let our developers and customers spin up environments tailored to their needs in the regions they need them.
Things on our roadmap include:
You won't be expected to lead these on day one. You will be in the room, and there will be pieces with your name on them.
We're committed to construction — one of the largest industries in the world. Over the past two decades, Trackunit has been pioneering technological progress within construction. Today, we are not only a leading IoT provider but a thought leader, supporting and shaping the agenda for an entire industry on a global scale.

Our colleagues get together in hubs spread across the globe, but we embrace the idea of working remotely and in environments that inspire you. Everything we do, we do it to eliminate downtime and build the most useful industry for the world.
