Job summary

Sanos Group is seeking a Site Contract Manager to oversee contracting for global Phase 1–3 trials. You will negotiate Clinical Trial Agreements and site budgets, liaise with sites, sponsors and institutions, and ensure timely signature and site activation.

The role requires experience in CRO/pharma/biotech or clinical research, strong English, and ability to manage multiple contracts in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on site contracting experience from CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or clinical research environment.
• Strong experience negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements and site budgets across multiple countries.
• Good understanding of study start-up, site activation and study delivery.

• Lead end-to-end negotiation and execution of Clinical Trial Agreements, amendments and site budgets.
• Act as main contact for contractual and budget discussions with sites, institutions and sponsors.
• Drive contracts to signature within timelines and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain contract trackers and provide clear status updates to study teams and management.
• Coordinate with Clinical Operations, Clinical Proposals and Finance, including handover for site payment setup in Veeva.
• Support improvement of contracting templates, processes and tools.

Your key roles and responsibilities

The Site Contract Manager is responsible for negotiating and executing clinical trial agreements and site budgets for our global Phase 1–3 trials, ensuring timely site activation and appropriate contractual and financial terms.

• Lead the end-to-end negotiation and execution of Clinical Trial Agreements, amendments and site budgets.
• Act as the main contact for contractual and budget discussions with sites, institutions and sponsors.
• Drive contracts to signature within agreed timelines and escalated legal, operational or financial issues as needed.
• Maintain contract trackers and provide clear status updates to study teams and management.
• Coordinate with Clinical Operations, Clinical Proposals and Finance, including handover for site payment setup in Veeva.
• Support continuous improvement of contracting templates, processes and tools.

Travel:

Little, if any, travel is expected.

Desired skills and experience

• Hands-on site contracting experience from a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or clinical research environment.
• Strong experience negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements and site budgets, preferably across multiple countries.
• Good understanding of study start-up and the link between contracting, site activation and study delivery.
• Ability to identify contractual, commercial and operational risks and elevate appropriately.
• Experience with trackers and reporting tools; knowledge of Veeva site payment setup is an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Success criteria includes

• Driving contract execution within agreed project timelines
• Support achieving First Site Activated as well as Last Site Activated
• Contribute to reduction of contracting cycles and cycle times, and ensure sustainable and compliant budget agreements.
