Job description

At BlinkTroll, we're building next-generation training systems and defence technology used by military and police forces across Europe. Our mission is simple but urgent: to support the defenders of the free world with powerful, practical, and life‑saving technology.

We're now looking for a Signal Processing Engineer to join our team in Odense, someone who thrives on turning complex sensor data into reliable, real‑world solutions in demanding operational environments.

This role is ideal for an engineer who wants to play a central part in a small, ambitious, and purpose‑driven company, working close to the technology and the people who depend on it.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, develop, and optimise signal processing algorithms for radar, sonar, or sensor‑based systems
  • Process and analyse data from real‐world defence and training environments to improve system performance and reliability
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, embedded, and software engineers to integrate signal‑processing solutions end‑to‑end
  • Validate and test algorithms against operational requirements and real‑world scenarios
  • Contribute to technical documentation and support management reporting on progress and performance
  • Work with leadership on technical strategy as our systems and capabilities grow
Who You Are
  • 5+ years of experience in signal processing, ideally within defence, radar, sonar, or related fields
  • Strong foundation in applied mathematics, statistical signal processing, and algorithm development
  • Proficient in MATLAB and/or Python, experience with FPGA or real‑time DSP systems is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a small, hands‑on engineering team where you take ownership
  • Based in or near Odense, or willing to work on‑site most of the time
  • Eligible for security clearance
What We Offer
  • A meaningful mission and real‑world impact
  • A key engineering role in a growing defence technology company
  • Hands‑on, collaborative office in Odense's robotics and defence ecosystem
  • Direct influence on how we develop and refine our core technology
  • Strong team culture and room to grow with the company
