Food Folk Group is seeking a Finance IT Service Owner to take end-to-end ownership of the Finance IT portfolio with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. You will collaborate with PMO and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, governance, and value across the finance platform.
The role blends operational responsibility with strategic development, requiring you to manage vendors, budgets, and performance while advancing IT service management maturity.
At Food Folk and McDonald’s, all employees are equal, regardless of age, gender, and ethnicity. We want to make a difference and in many cases we are the first step in the career and an integration engine in society, something we are very proud of. At Food Folk / McDonald’s, we believe that good food can also be sustainable – for our customers, producers and the environment.
In addition to a global, professional workplace with many great colleagues, you get pension, a yearly bonus, food allowance and a range of benefits. With many fun activities all year round, you and all employees will be involved and continue to grow with the Nordic region's largest restaurant chain!
As Service Owner, you will have end-to-end ownership of the Finance IT portfolio, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. You will ensure that critical finance services are well managed and continuously developed, while also helping shape the long‑term direction of the platform. The role combines operational responsibility with strategic development and requires you to move comfortably between business needs, IT priorities, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
You will work closely with the PMO and project organisation to bring new initiatives and implementations into the operational environment, while driving continuous improvement and digitalisation across the finance platform. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of IT Service Management, governance, and ways of working as the wider IT organisation continues to mature.
In the role, you will:
We are looking for an experienced Finance IT professional who combines strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance with a broader understanding of finance processes, IT service management, and business needs. You have experience taking ownership of business-critical applications or services and are comfortable working across both strategic and operational levels.
You are used to working in a complex stakeholder environment and can build strong relationships across Finance, IT, senior leadership, and external partners. You bring structure and a pragmatic approach to governance, service management, and continuous improvement, while also being able to drive change and deliver results.
We expect you to have:
The following experience is not required, but would be considered an advantage:
You are a good listener who understands different perspectives, but you are also comfortable setting boundaries and making decisions when priorities compete.
You are driven, curious, and capable of operating with a high level of personal responsibility. At the same time, you are self‑aware, know your limits, and are comfortable asking for support when needed.
You are confident enough to lead and challenge when necessary, while remaining humble and collaborative. You can move naturally between business stakeholders, IT specialists, vendors, and senior leadership, adapting your communication to the audience.
Most importantly, you enjoy making things happen. You can translate business needs into practical IT priorities and help turn change into tangible results.
The primary location is Denmark, preferably close to the Financial Service Center in Copenhagen.
We are also open to candidates based in Malmö/Sweden or Finland. Norway is currently a lower priority.
Regular presence in the office is an important part of the role. We are looking for someone who wants to be close to the team, the business, and the day‑to‑day operation rather than working predominantly remotely.
Curious? Even if you’re not actively looking, we welcome confidential conversations – get in touch and we’ll tell you more!
As interviews and selection are conducted on an ongoing basis, we kindly ask you to submit your application as soon as possible.
