Job summary

The LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to act as the Quality Key Account for external plastic and processing suppliers across Europe. You will drive supplier qualification, performance improvement, risk mitigation, and governance to ensure products meet quality, reliability, safety and regulatory standards worldwide.

You will lead supplier assessments, monitor performance, and balance cost and quality while guiding cross-functional teams and supporting

Qualifications

8+ years in quality or engineering field.
Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 is required.
Injection molding experience with knowledge of failure modes.
Lean and quality tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D.
Strong communication in a multicultural environment and stakeholder management.
Project management experience and problem-solving skills.
English as working language, native-level proficiency.

Responsibilities

Act as Quality Key Account for external plastic and processing suppliers in EU.
Lead supplier assessments, close gaps with cross-functional teams, drive lift-up actions.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure LEGO quality, reliability, and safety standards worldwide.
Apply SME-level knowledge to drive scalable quality solutions and coach suppliers.
Lead quality incidents, balance cost and quality to drive root-cause analysis.
Support novelty projects to mitigate quality risks across development stages.
Lead yearly strategic quality projects.
