Job summary

Tryg Forsikring A/S is seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant to join Group Strategy and drive high-impact strategic projects across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. You will collaborate with former consultants and Tryg teams to shape and execute strategic priorities.

You will own workstreams, interact with senior stakeholders, and contribute to shaping Tryg’s future strategy while developing your consulting toolbox within a Nordic insurer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience from top-tier consulting, corporate strategy, or a similarly analytical environment.
• Strong academic track record from a relevant master’s degree.
• Fluency in English with Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish also required.

Responsibilities

• Shape decision material for senior executives and the Executive Board through structured analyses, insight generation, and clear communication.
• Help shape Tryg’s next strategy in collaboration with business units and group functions.
• Take ownership of and drive your workstreams independently within a project, including delegating tasks and providing guidance and feedback to student assistants.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and build trusting working relationships across the organization.

About you | Analytical, driven, and collaborative

• You likely have a minimum of 2 years of experience from top-tier consulting, corporate strategy, or a similarly analytical environment, along with a strong academic track record from a relevant master’s degree
• You are highly analytical, structured, and comfortable owning demanding workstreams from hypothesis generation through recommendation
• You work well with others and contribute to a supportive and high-performing team environment with a team-first mindset
• You are a compelling communicator with strong people skills, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, working independently and collaboratively, and challenging perspectives in a constructive way
• Fluency in Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish is required, along with professional-level English.
• You are comfortable using PowerPoint and Excel to communicate complex topics simply and effectively.
