Nilfisk, based in Hadsund, Denmark, seeks a Product Regulations Specialist to translate EMC, radio and digital-product requirements into practical compliance guidance and workflows across R&D, IT and Quality.
You will develop end-to-end processes, maintain documentation, and embed procedures in the SharePoint DMS and Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring traceability from regulation changes to implemented actions.
Join Nilfisk and help turn complex product requirements into clear guidance, effective processes and connected digital ways of working. We are looking for a specialist who combines expertise in EMC, radio and digital-product regulation with the ability to develop and implement practical compliance processes. If you enjoy both interpreting requirements and building the systems that make them work in everyday operations, this could be your next role.
As Product Regulations Specialist, you will help ensure that Nilfisk's products remain compliant and ready for evolving market requirements. Based in Hadsund, Denmark, you will join Product Compliance & Sustainability (PCS), working closely with R&D, Technology, Product Lines, Quality, IT and Legal. Your role combines two core contributions: providing specialist regulatory guidance within EMC, radio and the digital domain, and developing the compliance processes and digital workspace that support consistent execution across the organisation. You will connect regulatory intelligence, documented requirements, technical evidence and follow-up through practical workflows embedded in our SharePoint‑based Document Management System (DMS) and Microsoft 365 environment. This is a hands‑on specialist role: success means not only defining a process, but implementing it, securing adoption and improving how it works. Occasional travel to external meetings and Nilfisk locations can be expected.
Monitor, assess and interpret EU and international legislation and standards within EMC, radio and connected products, with a primary focus on Europe and North America.
Provide specialist guidance on the EMC Directive, Radio Equipment Directive (RED), relevant FCC and ISED requirements, and applicable IEC, CISPR and ETSI standards.
Translate digital-product requirements, particularly the Cyber Resilience Act and applicable RED cybersecurity requirements, into clear compliance requirements, documentation expectations and implementation plans with R&D and IT.
Gather intelligence through trade organisations, standards bodies, industry forums and public consultations; communicate prioritised changes, product impacts and required actions.
Support R&D Compliance Engineers with regulatory interpretation, conformity‑assessment approaches and review of EMC, radio and digital compliance evidence for new and existing products.
Translate obligations into end‑to‑end processes with clear triggers, inputs, outputs, responsibilities, decision points, approval criteria and records.
Develop and maintain procedures, process maps, templates and guidance covering initial and continued compliance, including changes to products, software, suppliers and regulatory requirements.
Facilitate cross‑functional workshops, train users and follow up on adoption, document quality and process effectiveness. Turn feedback and audit findings into practical improvements.
Embed compliance processes in the SharePoint DMS and Microsoft 365 workspace so that approved procedures, working documents, tasks and compliance evidence are connected and easy to find.
Define and implement fit‑for‑purpose document libraries, metadata, document types, naming conventions, ownership, version control, review cycles and approval workflows in partnership with Quality and IT.
Use SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, CoPilot Premium and Power Automate to support structured intake, reviews, approvals, reminders, action tracking and status visibility, within IT governance and access‑control requirements.
Maintain traceability from a legislative change through impact assessment and assigned actions to approved evidence and closure, reducing duplicate records and manual handovers.
Act as the business‑side process and solution lead: configure agreed solutions where appropriate, specify requirements for IT‑supported development, and test, document and roll out improvements with users.
